Set up and pack up a site

Set the order the signs go out, set up and pack up a site with Chainage leading the crew to each sign, give crews a set-up link, and watch it live from the office.

The On site tab is where a job goes out on the road: the order the signs go out, setting up and packing up, and what's out right now.

The On site tab

With a project open, tap More, then On site. It shows how many signs are out in the phase you're in, Set up / pack up, the Set-up order, and who's out on the site now.

Each sign's card also has Set up, Collected and Order, to mark one by hand.

Set the order the signs go out

Under Set-up order, tap Set (or Edit).
Tap Pick on the map, then click the signs in the order they go out. Each gets the next number.
Tap Picking — done. Drag the rows to change the order, or use Reverse, Add all or Clear.

Each phase has its own order, and packing up runs it backwards. With no order, the crew is taken to the nearest sign next.

Set up or pack up

Tap Set up / pack up, then Setting up or Packing up.
Pick the phase. If signs are already out, it asks what the site is changing to, and leads you through what to add, change and remove.
Chainage shows the next sign, how far it is and which way to go. Tap Set up (or Collected) as each one goes. You can add a photo of it, or skip it.
More options skips a sign, picks another one, opens directions or the map, or finishes early. Finish ends the run.

What's out is saved as you go, so it carries on if the app closes, and several crews can work on the same site at once.

Set-up links for crews

Crews don't need an account. Make a share link and tick Set-up link: whoever opens it can set up and pack up the site, mark signs out or collected, add photos and show where they are while they work. Instead of Find my chainage, their screen has Set/Pack up site. They can give their name, which shows with each sign. Its QR code is handy for the crew's phones.

Live site

Open Live site shows the office who's out there right now on the map (people who share their location while they work), what's out and what's collected in each phase, and the latest set-up log, with the Set-up order, Set-up link and a Report.
