On a computer you can work on several items at once, copy and paste them, and undo a change you didn't mean.
Pick several items
- Hold Shift and click each item (sign, point, photo or drawing). Shift + click again drops one.
- Or hold Shift and drag a box: everything with any part inside it is picked.
A bar at the bottom shows how many are picked. ✕ or Esc lets them go.
Work on them together
- Drag one and they all move together.
- Move to moves them to another layer, in any phase.
- Duplicate into copies them, exactly as they are, into another layer, for example the same signs in the next phase.
- Copy copies them, ready to paste (below).
- Delete deletes them all, after you confirm.
- Edit style shows when they're all drawings of one kind, such as measurements. What you change there changes on all of them; everything else about each one stays as it is.
To copy a whole layer into another phase, open its layer settings (the pencil on the layer, under More, Layers) and use Copy into a phase.
Copy and paste
- Ctrl + C copies the open item, or the picked items.
- Ctrl + V pastes them where the mouse is: on the map, or on the ground in Street View. Map labels count on, for example A1 becomes A2.
- Ctrl + D duplicates the open item, just beside it.
Undo and redo
Ctrl + Z undoes your last change in the project: a move, an edit, a paste, even a delete (the item comes back, but not its photos). Ctrl + Shift + Z (or Ctrl + Y) redoes it. Several changes made as one, such as a group move, undo as one. Use Cmd instead of Ctrl on a Mac.
Undo covers what you've done since opening the project on this device.
