The chainage doesn't look right

What to check when a chainage looks wrong: snapping, the road and carriageway, GPS accuracy, council roads and roadside markers.

Transcript

If a chainage doesn't look right, first check where the pin is. Tapping beside a road gives a dropped pin, with the nearest chainage. Snap to road puts it on the road. At interchanges and divided roads, zoom in, and tap right on the carriageway you mean. With GPS, check the accuracy on the card. Open sky gives the best fix.
